Melissa Kane

Melissa Kane is a Speech Pathologist and Director with extensive experience working with adults across hospital and healthcare settings in Melbourne, Northern NSW and the Gold Coast. Since graduating from the University of Melbourne in 2013, she has worked predominantly in acute and intensive care settings, as well as inpatient neurological rehabilitation. Melissa takes an evidence-based, person-centred approach to supporting medically complex and underserved populations and is also involved in university teaching and clinical research.

Melissa has a particular interest in supporting people with complex neurological, swallowing and voice-related conditions. She also has a special interest in working with people from multilingual backgrounds and speaks English, Spanish, German and Japanese.
Melissa provides assessment and management across a range of speech pathology areas, including:
